“Age Is Not A Sign Of Wisdom Or Wealth” – Actress Eucharia Anunobi

Veteran Nollywood actress and evangelist, Eucharia Anunobi, has dropped another thought-provoking message on social media — and this time, she’s coming for the popular belief that age automatically equals wisdom.

In a recent Instagram post, the actress made it clear that being older doesn’t necessarily mean being smarter, richer, or more mature.

She wrote:

“Age has never been a parameter to be wealthy.
Age has never been a parameter to be wise.
Age has never been a parameter to be smart.
Age has never been a parameter to be in a position of leadership or the wife.”

According to her, if age truly determined success or wisdom, then “all the older people would have been richer, wiser, and in greater positions of leadership.”

Quoting the Bible, she added:

“That’s why the Holy Book says, Great men are not always wise, neither do the aged understand judgment.”

Eucharia went on to explain that many people who are considered “mature” still act like teenagers — and sometimes even worse.

“You still have to keep correcting them often and again,” she said. “Age is not a parameter to be given respect until someone aligns to the author of wisdom in truth and in spirit.”

Ending her post with her signature boldness, the actress described herself as “the catalyst to awaken you to your new reality.”
