APC Candidate In Jigawa State Dies Few Weeks To Local Government Election

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Jigawa State has lost it’s Local Government council candidate, Yahuza Umar Labbo.

Labbo, who was set to contest in the October 5 local government elections, died after a brief illness at the age of 55.

Jigawa APC Chairman Aminu Gumel confirmed Labbo’s death in a statement released on Wednesday.

Governor Umar Namadi of Jigawa State has offered heartfelt condolences to the family of late Yahuza Umar Labbo, the APC council candidate who passed away.

The governor extended sympathies to the Muslim community, praying for the deceased’s soul and strength for the bereaved family.

Labbo is survived by three wives and fifteen children.
