Armed Robbers Raid Two Commercial Banks In Kogi State

A group of armed robbers on Thursday reportedly raided two commercial banks in Anyigba, Dekina Local Government Area of Kogi State.

It was learnt that there were indiscriminate shootings, with multiple banks targeted in the robbery.

The heist operation was alleged to have begun at 5pm when the attackers assaulted the two banks and began shooting to make their escape after stealing an unidentified amount of money.

According to report, operatives of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) engaged the robbers in an exchange of gunfire.
