The founder of Who’s Who Diaspora- the Nigerian story Linda Anukwuem, will continue celebrating our everyday heroes in the Diaspora.

She said that Nigerians are undoubtedly the most educated community in the United States, with professionals in various spheres of life, striding high in the corporate world, media/communications, culinary, health care, academia, the creative industry, sports, enterprise, politics/legal, STEM and community builders
Nigerians have distinguished themselves across the globe, making a mark in the development of many countries especially in the United States.

 

In the face of a few negative stories that hit the newsstand about some Nigerians, it is therefore gratifying when we read this compendium of our country men and women making us proud across the globe.

The founder of the who’s who Diaspora project, Ms Linda Anukwuem, a Nigerian born in the United States to Nigerian parents and raised in Houston, Texas Linda believes that no one else can tell our true stories than us, Nigerians.

We tell these positive stories everyday through the grit, industry, sheer doggedness of the Diaspora Nigeria community.

Nigerians in the Diaspora are contributing in no small measure to the development of their host countries and also the Nigerian economy when we consider the volume of Diaspora remittances that pass through the Nigerian banking system, the volume of real estate Nigerians in the Diaspora own as well as investments in various venturess, with their multiplier effect on the economy.
