Reports reaching indepthnews said that a passenger train has collided with a Lagos state government BRT staff bus at PWD junction, GRA Ikeja area of the state on Thursday morning February, 9th, 2023.
Eyewitnesse account said, that the train which was coming from Agege, met a BRT vehicle with the Lagos state government workers on board crossing the rail to link Ikeja GRA PWD junction.
According to CKN News, there are some casualties as one could see that the BRT bus was smeared with fresh blood of victims. And Rescue operation is ongoing.
There is already gridlock on the Lagos-Abeokuta expressway as motorists from Oshodi towards shogunle to Ikeja along due to the accident.
