Cardi B Fuels Dating Rumours With Nigerian Footballer Maduka Okoye

American rapper Cardi B has fuelled speculation about a possible romance with Nigerian footballer Maduka Okoye after suggesting she would like fans to see more of the goalkeeper.

The rapper, who features on the latest cover of Vogue Arabia, opened up about her music, motherhood and life after divorce during an interview with the magazine.

Her recent outings with Okoye also came up during the conversation, with Cardi speaking warmly about the 27-year-old Udinese goalkeeper.

Romance rumours surrounding the pair began in July after they were spotted together at Paris Fashion Week. Okoye was seen helping Cardi settle into her seat before sitting beside her as they watched the fashion show.

The two were later seen dining with friends at Gio’s restaurant inside The St. Regis Venice, further prompting speculation about their relationship.

Although there was no obvious public display of affection between them, the pair appeared relaxed and comfortable in each other’s company.

Asked about Okoye, Cardi described him as “really sweet” and “very kind”. She added that he comes across as “very strict” and “stern” on social media but is quite different in person.

The rapper was then asked whether fans should expect to see more of the Nigerian footballer.

With a giggle, Cardi replied: “I hope so.”

Neither Cardi nor Okoye has publicly confirmed that they are dating.

However, Cardi’s comments have added fresh fuel to the growing speculation about a possible relationship between the rapper and the Nigerian goalkeeper.
