Chief, Sir, Dr Ikenna Aniche, Nke Nke Enyi Izuogu Gburu Gburu 1 – 12, celebrates his golden jubilee today. In a message sent to our newsdesk his heart is full of gratitude to God for making him witness 50 years on earth.

These were his words,

“Thank you for allowing me to see another birthday Lord. Am nobody without you Lord. With my arms raised in the sky and eyes filled with tears. I have come to say thank you for adding a new year to my age instead of my burial not looking at my imperfections.

I wouldn’t have made it alive on the 6th of Feb 2021 if not because of your consistent and continued show of love, mercy, compassion and grace . Thank you Lord.
You gave me this life yet again to feel the breeze, and to breathe the air and as a tool to touch lives and to serve you. Thank You Oh Lord for another blissful chance to celebrate this life of mine.

50 HEARTY CHEERS TO ME ON MY GOLDEN JUBILEE HERE ON PLANET EARTH !!!

I am full of gratitude to God Almighty who has been my protector and rescuer despite my imperfection as mere mortal. He has seen me through the mountains, hills and valleys. God has been so merciful, faithful and loving even at the most difficult and challenging moments. Who am I to still be on planet Earth today if not God who in his wisdom and decision strengthened and sustained my life?

I thank my Lord, the Omnipotent God for preserving my life for another 365 Days circle. It is only by His Special Grace that these great things were made possible and I have every cause to celebrate his goodness unto me.

Happy Birthday to me for being able to make it. It is possible not for anything special or wonderful about me but because my Father who is in Heaven has decreed it in my favor and I thank him. There are testimonies in my mouth and indeed good tidings! God who sees in secret and darkness saw me through what would have been described as a dangerously fatal accident when nobody expected a survivor from the deadly auto crash face to face with a big truck earlier in the year. It was a miracle and grace in its fullest.

‍Many thought that I had transited to the great beyond, social media was awash that I was dead, alas the wish of our merciful God prevailed and to his Glory am here strong, recuperating and shouting Alleluia.
To you especially who passionately stood by me through those tortuous days of challenges I most humbly say thank you and God bless You. To you my God, may your name be praised for ever and ever more, Amen!
