After successfully touring Europe, Asia and other part of the globe, award winning humour genius, Acapella has returned home and will be shutting down the city of Lagos on the 30th of March, 2025 at the prestigious Eko Hotels and Suites.

The talented comedian cum broadcaster, Benneth Chinedu Daniel whose craft has spanned close to two decades in the entertainment scene recently met with journalists in Lagos, where he gave insight into the idea of his forthcoming comedy event.

Speaking with The Daily Monitor, the Imo State born act, said the “2Kings & A Guy” comedy concert was introduced to acknowledge the impact of two Nigerian showbiz legends while entertaining fans with the best of comedy.

In his words, “The ‘Full @ 40’ is just only one edition, it’s a one-off edition, the Full @ 40 was just a series I did with my UK tour. As for the idea behind “Two King and a guy”. It’s basically a concept to establish the long age things I’ve experienced in entertainment industry.

“It’s an idea around one of Nigeria’s greatest music Icon, Tuface (2 Baba) of course everyone knows that Tuface has a nickname, A Guy and with Okey Bakassi who is one of the funniest founding fathers of stand-up comedy in Nigeria, so basically, it’s more like if you have me, Tubaba and Okey Bakassi on a flyer or a show together, you know what that means.”

“So I wanted to create an Irony of where people will be like, Who is the Guy? I feel like they already know that 2Baba is a King, Okey Bakassi is also a King. So basically, I just wanted to create a conversation in the minds of fun lovers, I actually just want to do something different from “Acapella my Mic and I”, I want to give out premium entertainment to my fans, you know they are premium people”.

The rich and handsome eligible bachelor who recently clocked 40 years was honoured with a certificate of recognition by the Canadian Government, through the office of Mayor of Brampton. Acapella who rose to fame from the Open Mic reality talent show, organised by the famous comedy star, Ayo Makun, popularly known as AY, has continued to prove to all and sundry that he is not just a regular talent.
