Court Clears Naira Marley, Sam Larry, And Primeboy in Mohbad’s Death Case

A Magistrate Court in Yaba, Lagos, has cleared singer Naira Marley, music promoter Sam Larry, Primeboy, and Mohbad’s former manager, Opere Babatunde, of any involvement in the death of singer Mohbad.

The ruling followed legal advice from the Lagos Directorate of Public Prosecution (DPP), which stated that the individuals had no case to answer. However, the court ordered the prosecution of auxiliary nurse Feyisayo Ogedengbe and Mohbad’s friend Ayobami Sadiq for reckless and negligent acts under Lagos State law.

The duo will face trial at the Magistrate Court.
