Deeper Life High School, Don-Davies Alleged Molesters Remanded In Prison

The Mother of Don-Davis Archibong, Deborah Okezie, a Junior Secondary School student of Deeper Life High School, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State has revealed that the principal and house master has been remanded in prison.  While the two senior students who were torturing her son are facing the juvenile court.

She wrote on her Facebook-

“BREAKING NEWS: DEEPER LIFE HIGH SCHOOL PRINCIPAL, NDIDI SOLOMON AND OTHER ACCUSED PERSONS INVOLVED IN DON-DAVIS ARCHIBONG’S MOLESTATION AND ABUSED CASE REMANDED IN PRISON CUSTODY:

Today, all the suspects were arraigned afresh at the State High Court 7 Uyo and were asked to be remanded in the prison Custody with stiff bail conditions. So, the 5 of them, the Principal Ndidi Solomon, the Vice Principal, the wicked House masters, Akpan and others apart from the 2 minors were ordered to be detained in the prison custody until they met their bail conditions.

Their lawyers were running up and down and cold caught all of them when the Judge gave the ruling. Further more, after a lengthy argument that lasted for about 3hrs, the judge ruled that the 2 accused minors, Old and Shalom will be tried at the Juvenile family Court, while the other 5 accused persons will be tried in the open Court where everyone shall see them.

The matter has just began, with a different tone of music.

Kidnapping, Teacher Arrested For Killing A Five-Year-Old Pupil After Requesting For N6m Ransom

In Kano State North West Nigeria, a teacher Abdulmalik Tanko has been arrested over his involvement in the kidnap and death of Hanifa Abubakar, a five-year-old pupil.

Indepthnews reports that the pupil was said to have been kidnapped in December and her abductors had demanded N6 million ransom.

The police spokesperson in Kano, Abdullahi Kiyawa, in a statement, said Tanko killed his pupil when he found that she had recognised him.

“Some time on the 04/12/2021 at about 2030hrs, a report was received from a resident of Dakata Quarters, Nassarawa LGA, Kano State that, one Hanifa Abubakar, ‘f’, aged 5 years old, was kidnapped and a ransom of Six Million Naira (N6,000,000.00) was demanded,” the statement reads.

“On receipt of the report, the Commissioner of Police, Kano State Command, CP Sama’ila Shu’aibu Dikko, fsi, met with heads of security agencies in the state, re-strategised for effective service delivery and raised a team of Operation Puff Adder led by SP Shehu Dahiru to arrest the culprits.

“Sustained efforts and prolonged follow-up led to the arrest of one Abdulmalik Mohammed Tanko, ‘m’, aged 30 years old, of Tudun Murtala Quarters, Nassarawa LGA, Kano State and one Hashim Isyaku, ‘m’, aged 37 years old, of same address by a detective team of the Department of State Services (DSS),  Kano State.

“On investigation, Abdulmalik confessed that, the victim, Hanifa, is his student at a private school in Kwanar Dakata, Nassarawa LGA, Kano State. He kidnapped her and took her to his house where he contacted her relatives and demanded a ransom of Six Million Naira (N6,000,000.00).

“On the 18/12/2021, having realised that the victim recognised him, he claimed to have poisoned her to death, conspired with one Hashim Isyaku, ‘m’, took and buried her in a shallow grave located at the private school premises located at Kwanar ‘Yan Gana, Tudun Murtala Quarters, Nassarawa LGA, Kano State.

“Hashim also confessed that, sometimes in the month of November 2021, the principal suspect, Abdulmalik met him and one Fatima Jibreel Musa, ‘f’, 27 years old, of Layin Falaki Tudun Murtala Quarters, Nassarawa LGA Kano State and ordered them to kidnap Hanifa. They planned but later rescinded their action. Fatima was also arrested.“

Suspects

The police said the suspects, led a combined team of security and medical operatives to where the body was buried.
The police added that the corpse was exhumed and taken to the Mohammed Abdullahi Wase Specialist Hospital Kano where she was confirmed dead.

Horror, Man Aged 65 Beheaded In A Community In Imo State

Reports reaching Indepthnews has it that, unknown persons have beheaded a 65-year-old man who was identified as, Nnoruoka Onyeokwu in Ubudom Atta community in the Njaba Local Government Area of Imo state over the weekend.

According to residents of the community, the deceased was attacked in his house in the night when everyone was sleeping.

The killers displayed the dismembered body after the killing.

As of the time of filling this  Reports, the state police command is yet to comment on the matter.

Another Hotel Murder, Business Man Found Dead In Hotel Room And Private Parts Missing In Anambra State,

Friends of a tailor identified as Azubuike Nwokolo aka Zubby More, are currently demanding Justice for him on social media after he was reportedly found dead in a hotel room in Amichi, Anambra State.

According to a source, the father-of-two attended a party in the area on Thursday, January 13, and decided to lodge at a hotel when the unfortunate incident happened. “It was late in the night and he couldn’t go home so he decided to lodge at Udo Queens hotel in Amichi, Anambra State. He didn’t return home which got his family members worried.

A search was launched and it was discovered that he lodged in the hotel but the hotel management didn’t contact his family or the police before taking him to the morgue. It was an anon that informed the family that their son was laying in the morgue. The family went to the morgue and found out that his test!cles were missing. They confronted the hotel staff and were told that he slipped on the bathroom tiles and d!ed.

The family believes something is fishy as they found wounds on his body. They are appealing to the Anambra State police command to take up the case and ensure Justice is meted out to those responsible,” a source said.
