Developing Story: Former Lagos State Governor Lateef Jakande Is Dead.

Renowned journalist and administrator, Alhaji Lateef Jakande, is dead., he died in the early hours of today, Thursday, February 11, 2021.

The lagos state governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu confirmed the demise of the ex-governor.

Aged 91 (he was born on July 1929), Jakande was the first civilian Governor of Lagos State (1979 to 1983) and was so outstanding that he was nicknamed Action Governor.
