Drama erupted in a local church after the pastor addressed members over the shocking disappearance of their youth president, who reportedly absconded with funds meant for building a youth hall.
During Sunday service, the pastor revealed that the runaway youth leader had sent a message from Hungary, thanking the church for “sponsoring his trip abroad” and promising to repay the money with interest in a year.
The pastor, visibly upset, dismissed the claims, declaring that “it was never God who used the church to sponsor him , he stole from the house of God.”
He further announced that the entire congregation would embark on fasting and prayers for the runaway youth president to “suffer immense hunger in Hungary” until he returns.
In his fiery address, the pastor added:
“Does he think we are all happy staying in this country? If I see opportunity, will I not travel too? But I will not steal God’s money. Since he said God used us, let hunger use him over there. We will continue our service here, even on TikTok if necessary.”
