Even though she was not even in the area when the tragic incident happened, she was accosted when she returned and publicly humiliated by members of the community who tied her up and got petrol, ready to set her ablaze.

But for the intervention of authorities, she would have been dead.

She was eventually arrested and taken into custody before being charged to court.

But human rights activist got involved and the case was properly investigated during which it was discovered that the 4 boys and 1 girl were killed by inhaling generator fumes.

Speaking after being exonerated, Aisha said she never cooked pepper soup for anybody.

She explained that trouble started when she parted ways with her late ex-boyfriend and the father of the late young man stopped her from visiting their house.

Aishat said on the fateful day, her former boyfriend and some of his friends died while she was at Iyakpi while the incident happened at Afashio

People are now calling for the friend of Aisha’s late boyfriend who raised the false alarm to face the law.
