The the National Chairman of POM, Citizen (Pst) Ime James, explained the new process of how POM will operate in future and gave detailed insight of what to expect.

According to him, POM will metamorphose into a global organization, that is POM Global, and will be known as; People’s Organic Movement. A global initiative for good governance. It will then become a civil society body.
Though the body will not linked with any political party, but members are free to join Labour Party if they so desire, as POM is NOT Labour Party but a support group.

He further reiterated that, if in future, Peter Obi chooses to decamp from Labour Party, the body (POM) will in turn offer same unflinching support to him, irrespective of whichever party he decamps to.

And anybody who chooses to be a part of the body at that time, will personally do so as a volunteer for good governance.

Citizen James further stressed that, all new excos who previously held positions as coordinator(s), are to relinquish their positions and appoint new coordinating officers who will be called LGA or LCDA Administrators.

This change will take effect after the verdict is given at the ongoing court case on the 2023 General elections, as all eyes are currently fixed on the Judiciary.

After the National Chairman’s address,  administration of oath, coordinated by His Worship, Magistrate Gabriel Ebebe was administered on the new executives.
