It’s Difficult To Say RIP – Zubby Michael Finally Bows To Pressure, Mourns Junior Pope

Nollywood actor Zubby Michael has taken to social media to publicly mourn his late colleague, Pope Obumneme Odonwodo, aka Junior Pope, for the first time since his passing.

Recall that Junior Pope and four other crew members died in a boat accident on April 10, 2024, while returning from a movie location.

Following Junior Pope’s passing, some netizens criticized Zubby Michael for not posting about the tragedy on his Instagram page.

In an Instagram post, Zubby admitted that it’s been difficult for him to accept Junior Pope’s death and offered prayers.

He wrote, “It’s difficult to say RIP Nwanne.”
