Just In, Former NAWOJ President Raheemat Momodu Is Dead

A veteran female journalist, Raheemat Momodu is dead.

Her death was broken by a fellow female veteran journalist Joke Kujenya via her social media handle.

According to her, Momodu who was a former National President of National Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ) died on Tuesday, 14 June, 2022, as she is reported to be having a meeting when she slumped while being rushed to the hospital.

Below is the full message from Joke Kujenya Facebook wall: For me, the question is “what happened to Raheemat Momodu, An ever-smiling, vibrant lady, a core professional, Goodbye pleasant soul.”

These deaths are just becoming too much on us in the media industry. At the weekend, it was columnist, #Michael #Awe aka #Michael #West. We’re barely over shedding tears on his sudden death then this again.
