Miyetti Allah President, 2 Other Leaders Arrested For Aiding Kidnapping and Banditry in Kwara

Security forces in Kwara State have arrested three senior members of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN), including state president Idris Abubakar, for allegedly aiding kidnappings and supporting armed bandit groups .

The suspects, all reportedly over 60 years old, are accused of facilitating multiple abductions and providing logistical and financial support to Fulani criminal networks.

Authorities say preliminary investigations reveal close collaboration between the detained leaders and armed gangs responsible for widespread abductions across communities and highways.

Coordinated military and police operations continue in bandit strongholds to dismantle hideouts and restore security, while investigators work to identify additional collaborators.
