NDLEA Arrested Three Women For Illicit Drug Possession

NDLEA agents have detained three women for being in possession of illicit drugs.  In their possession were packages of marijuana, pentazocine injections, and other illegal substances.

Femi Babfemi,  spokesperson of the agency, made this known this on Sunday, September 18, and said Mary Ugwu and Hawwa Idi, were detained at Anchau town in Kubau Local Government Area of Kaduna State with 721 ampoules of pentazocine injection; 37,000 tablets of exol-5 and nine ampoules of diazepam injection and 6.8kg of rubber solution.

NDLEA agents also searched an electronics store at Alaba International Market in Lagos, where they discovered 972.5kg of marijuana and Mrs. Ebere Aja, who is 38 years old was detained.

Chairman of the NDLEA, Brig. Gen. Mohamed Buba Marwa (Retd), praised the officers and soldiers of the command for their vigilance and good works.

Marwa urged them to maintain their focus as they carry out their duties daily, along with everyone else in Nigeria.
