The Super Eagles of Nigeria have defeated the Cheetahs of Benin Republic in their first game of the Africa Cup of Nations qualifying series at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo.

Ademola Lookman broke the deadlock in the first half.

Osimhen extended the lead for the Super Eagles with a sumptuous goal.

Lookman’s third goal sealed the victory for Nigeria.
