Nigeria Is Currently Better Off Than Many Years ago — Singer Tuface

Iconic Nigerian singer, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as Tubaba has said that Nigeria is better off than what it was years ago.

Tubaba said this during a recent interview on Wazobia TV.

The host reflected on one of his (2Baba’s) enduring songs, “E Be Like Say”, noting that the theme he sang about years ago seem to be repeating in the current political season. The host said, “Now we are back in that political season again, and the same issues are still happening”

2Baba responded, “We are better off than many years ago. Just look at it.”

The host then asked if 2Baba had any plans to enter politics. He explained that he once campaigned in a role that required him to remain non-participatory, but he intends to continue his efforts in a personal capacity. He said, “It’s still ongoing, but I will continue doing it. I will set up my own position and try to make a difference. I’ll try to make it work because I know where I stand.”

He added, “I have personally appointed myself as an ambassador of Nigeria an ambassador everywhere, I am a self-appointed ambassador of Nigeria to everywhere.”
