Nigeria Records First Death Of Coronavirious (COVID-19).
Just as the number of Nigerians infected by CORONAVIRUS rises with 5 additional to our previous 30 cases making it 35 cases.
Today one death by COVID-19 have been announced by NCDC.
Former MD of PPMC Suleiman Achimugu aged 66yrs old from Kogi state died over night from Coronavirus. He is the first casualty in Nigeria.
He got back from United Kingdom two weeks ago.
He started exhibiting symptoms on last week Tuesday. The family reported to the NCDC. The centre came to the house and took his blood specimen for test. They never got back to the family.
As of yesterday afternoon, he was coughing profusely. So they called the NCDC to inquire about his results. It turned out positive.
They picked him up and rushed him to Gwagwalada. He died at 2am this morning.
His family are currently under quartine in their house.
Reports reaching us Claimed that he has been buried according to Muslim rites by his family.
