People Criticizing Him Don’t Even Know Their LGA Chairman — Cubana Chief Priest Defends Tinubu

Nigerian socialite and businessman Cubana Chief Priest has once again declared his unwavering support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, insisting that his loyalty to the APC-led government is “not shakeable.”

Speaking during a recent interview, the billionaire businessman said his support for the President comes from what he has personally observed, especially in his home state of Imo.

“It’s undiluted. My support for the President is something that is not shakeable,” he said. “I had to take a proper look at the achievements of APC in my own state. I come from Imo State.”

Cubana Chief Priest argued that the removal of fuel subsidy has given governors more financial freedom to develop their states without relying heavily on loans.

“A lot of governors now have been able to do a lot of things in their state without borrowing money,” he stated. “They have opportunity to get this money that is being gotten back from subsidy to help them build their states better.”

According to him, while some governors are underperforming, others are making visible progress with the increased allocations.

“A lot of them are not doing better, but some, if you can see some governors who are motioning properly, you’ll understand that there is an effect and there is a change,” he added.

The nightlife entrepreneur also defended Tinubu’s push for local government autonomy, saying Nigerians often blame the President for issues that should be addressed at the grassroots level.

“Some of these people who are attacking the President don’t even know who their Local Government Chairman is,” he said. “Their Local Government Chairman takes home a lot of money every month from the President directly.”
