Police Reportedly Rescue Abducted Sister, Nephews Of ex-Power Minister, Bayo Adelabu

Operatives of the Nigeria Police Force have rescued Mrs. Olaide Busayo Adegoke John-Paul, younger sister of former Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, and her 12-year-old twin sons, Peter and Paul.

Two suspected kidnappers were neutralised in a gun duel with police operatives during the rescue operation. Two firearms were recovered from the gang.

The victims were abducted around 7:30 am on June 3, 2026 while their mum was on the way to drop them in school.

Police sources disclosed that sustained intelligence tracking and tactical pressure forced the kidnappers into a confrontation with operatives, leading to the successful rescue of the victims.
