A Miami-based adult content creator has been arrested after allegedly stabbing a man during a dispute at his apartment, police said.
According to Miami-Dade County authorities, the incident took place on 19 February after the man invited 30-year-old La’Rose Sainte to his home. The two had reportedly met about three weeks earlier.
Police say an argument broke out between the pair after the man declined to have sex with Sainte. According to the victim’s account, the disagreement escalated and turned violent.
Investigators allege that Sainte stabbed the man during the confrontation before leaving the apartment.
Officers later stopped Sainte while driving away from the scene. Authorities say the suspect was found in possession of the victim’s house keys, car keys and other personal items.
Sainte, who also uses the name Jacob Todd Pabellon according to court records, was arrested and charged with battery and theft.
The adult content creator, who posts explicit material on social media platforms including X and subscription-based site Fansly, was later released from jail on personal recognisance following a court appearance before Judge Marisa Tinkler-Mendez.
An arraignment hearing in the case has been scheduled for 20 April, according to the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office.
Following the arrest, Sainte addressed the allegations in a post on social media, suggesting that the widely circulated account of events does not reflect the full story.
“If you all really believe that story that’s going around is the truth, I hate that for everyone,” Sainte wrote, adding that they intend to share their own version of events.
Sainte did not respond to further requests for comment.
Police investigations into the incident are ongoing.
