Pregnant Woman Due For Delivery On Her Way To Hospital Whisk Away By Kidnappers In Odun

A pregnant woman who was due for delivery has been kidnapped by unknown assailants.

The victim who was simply identified as Mrs Ogunbunmi was abducted in Abeokuta, Ogun State capital.

She had left her home in Oke Lantoro for the state General Hospital, Ijaiye, Abeokuta, but was kidnapped along the way.

Confirming the development, her husband, Ogunbunmi Lateef, noted that he received a WhatsApp message notifying him of his wife’s abduction.

While confirming the situation, Police Spokesman, Omolola Odutola, confirmed the incident but did not go into details.

In a statement released on Thursday, she said, “One Ogunbunmi Lateef of Oke Lantoro reported that his pregnant wife due for delivery left home ffor State Hospital Ijaiye Abeokuta.

“He received a WhatsApp message confirming the abduction of his wife by unknown armed men.”
