President & Founder Of Tourist Blue Motivational Foundation Akin Davies Celebrates His 60th Birthday With A Lecture

President and Founder of Tourist Blue Motivational Foundation (popularly known as Tourist Blue) Mr Akin Davis celebrated his birthday with a leadership lecture last Saturday, May, 28th 2022 in Lagos with a Leadership Lecture.

The programme was sponsored by the President’s Birthday National Planning Committee headed by Mr Femi Orekoya (Chairman), Mrs Sarah Famous Aluge (Vice~Chairman) and Mrs Ijeoma Okey~Nwangwu as the Treasurer.

The event which started by 11am, was well attended by all his well-wishers within and outside Lagos.

The lecture had Mr Kola Olugbodi as the Guest Speaker. The Keynote Speakers were, Mrs Nelly Agwu, Engr Wale Olapegba, Mrs Olubukola Kolajo and Mrs Morenike Ogunnowo FCA. Mr Kola Olugbodi was well represented at the occasion by Mr Peter Ugwuoke.

The topic of the lecture was,  ~Visionary Leadership” it was well profiled by the Speakers at the lecture event.

The anchors at the event, were Miss Impact Blessing a Diction coach expert and Mrs Juliet Ifeoma Obijiaku. The Duo  tmade the programme to be  colourful and memorable.

A lot of lessons, funs, beautiful cake, sumptuous foods and drinks were easily available for the guests present.

The celebrant’s wife and the son a mechanical engineer and their beautiful daughter a Barrister poured encomium on Mr Davis to everyone admiration.

Popular Comedian Bovi Gives Reason Why He Was Banned From USA

Popular Nigerian comedian, Bovi Ugboma, on Tuesday revealed that he has been banned from entering the United States.

The comic star revealed this while replying to questions from fans after he hosted a Question and Answer segment on his Instagram story.

According to Bovi, he was banned from the country after he clashed with a visa-issuing officer and got labelled.

He first spoke about the ban when a fan asked him to come to Massachusetts to perform.

“I’m banned in the USA,” the father-of-three replied.

Another fan asked him if he intended to leave the country and he replied, “I am a citizen of the world. Except for Yankee where I’m banned.”

Explaining the reason for the ban, he said, “ Ill luck. Met a charity-like visa-issuing officer. Egos clashed. I was labelled.”

He further said, “I go dey carry shoulder.”😁

The comedian had revealed in February 2022 that he was almost accused of stealing at a London hotel.

In his Q&A, the comedian also addressed the perceived beef between him and fellow comedian, Ayo Makun, popularly known as AY.

When asked by fans why he and AY don’t perform at each other’s show, the comedian made reference to American comedians.

“Have you ever seen Chris Rock at a Kevin Hart show?” Bovi replied to the inquisitive fan.

Nigerian Federal Government Renames National Theatre Lagos

National Theatre Lagos

Federal Government of Nigeria has given a new name for the National Theatre in Iganmu, Lagos State.

Upon completion, the facility under renovation will be known as Lagos Creative and Entertainment Center.

Information Minister, Lai Mohammed made the disclosure on Tuesday in Madrid, Spain, NAN reports.

He signed an agreement on the hosting of the Global Conference on Cultural Tourism and Creative Industry.

Nigeria and the United Nation World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO) sealed the pact at the organisation’s headquarters.

The November 14 to November 17 event would be staged at the newly refurbished edifice.

Mohammed said hubs are being constructed within the premises for fashion, Information, technology, film and music.

“With that, the National Theatre is now known as the Lagos Creative and Entertainment Centre.

“The Lagos surface rail system, to serve the National Theatre, will be commissioned ahead of the conference”, he added.

The monument was completed in 1976 in preparation for the Festival of Arts and Culture hosted in 1977.

The renovation costs $100million under a partnership between the Federal Government and the Bankers’ Committee/Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
