Terrorist Group Issues Fresh Threat In New Video

A new video linked to the terrorist group Boko Haram has surfaced online, showing armed members issuing fresh threats of violence and warning of potential attacks.

The footage, which began circulating widely on April 14, was reportedly recorded earlier on April 6 and first shared online by Daniel Somtochukwu.

In the video, individuals dressed in camouflage and carrying weapons claimed their actions were driven by their interpretation of religious teachings. They warned that attacks could intensify both within Nigeria and beyond, with specific reference to Borno State, a region long affected by insurgency.

The group also issued threats against individuals who refuse to convert, raising fresh concerns about civilian safety and the potential for increased violence.

The development comes days after the insurgents released other disturbing videos showing kidnapped victims, including men, women and children, further heightening fears over insecurity in the region.

Security analysts say such propaganda materials are often used by extremist groups to instill fear, attract recruits and project strength, even as military operations continue against them.

Authorities have yet to issue an official response to the latest video, but security agencies are expected to evaluate the threat and take necessary action.
