TikToker G-Fresh Slams Adam Zango Over Genotype Claim Behind Failed Marriage

Popular TikToker Al-Amin G-Fresh has criticised Kannywood actor Adam Zango over his explanation for the collapse of his latest marriage, saying the actor should have undergone proper premarital medical screening before tying the knot.

Zango recently disclosed that his marriage ended after he and his wife discovered they both had the AS genotype, making them medically incompatible for having children together. In a video shared on social media, the actor was seen as his former wife left his residence, while he maintained that the separation was peaceful and appealed to fans not to circulate false stories about him.

His revelation, however, has continued to generate mixed reactions online.
Reacting in a video alongside his wife, G-Fresh argued that genotype testing is a standard component of premarital medical screening and should never be ignored. He said the explanation offered by the actor only exposed him to public criticism and unnecessary ridicule.

“You shouldn’t be so uninformed as to conduct only an HIV test without undergoing a comprehensive medical examination, including a genotype test, before getting married,” G-Fresh said.

The couple also questioned Zango’s decision to make the matter public, insisting that he was under no obligation to explain the reason behind the failed marriage.

“You owed no one an explanation. It would have been better to remain silent,” they said, adding that the disclosure had only fuelled negative comments on social media.

G-Fresh further stated that if he were to enter another relationship, ensuring that his prospective partner underwent a full medical examination would be one of his first priorities before discussing marriage.

Meanwhile, speculation has continued to trail Adam Zango’s marital history. Although social media reports have claimed that the latest separation marks his seventh divorce, publicly available records indicate that the Kannywood star has had six officially recognised marriages since 2006, all of which ended in divorce.

The actor is also reported to be the father of seven children six boys and one girl.
