Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo has sworn in as the fifth democratically-elected Governor of Kogi State.

Ododo took the oath of office at around 2:24 pm in Lokoja, the state capital, on Saturday, January 27, 2024.

Ododo was sworn in by the Kogi State Chief Judge, Justice Josiah Mejabi, at the Muhammadu Buhari Civic Centre.

His inauguration came just minutes after Salifu Joel Oyibo took his oath of office as the deputy governor of Kogi State.
