Weeks After Meeting Seyi Tinubu, Cubana Chief Priest Loses Out At APC Primaries In Imo

Reports emerging from Imo State indicate that social media influencer and businessman, Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, has lost in the APC primary election.

Cubana Chief Priest was seeking to secure the ticket to contest for a seat in the House of Representatives under the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress.

His defeat comes months after he publicly declared his intention to venture into active politics and represent his constituency at the National Assembly.

The celebrity businessman has been vocal about his support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his reported re-election bid in 2027. He has also been at the forefront of the “City Boyz” movement in the South-East, campaigning in support of the President and the APC.

However, as at press time, Chief Priest is yet to issue an official statement.
