The Federal Ministry of Education has launched the Inspire Live(s) Online Real-Time Classes Initiative, a digital learning programme designed to expand access to quality education for students across Nigeria. The programme supports the “Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR” and aims to address teacher shortages and learning disruptions.

Minister of Education, Tunji Alausa, confirmed the rollout, covering all classes from Primary 1 to Senior Secondary 3. Currently, classes for JSS and SSS students run Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m., led by certified master teachers via Cisco Webex. Subjects for JSS include Mathematics, English, Basic Science, ICT, and more, while SSS learners have courses in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Economics, Technical Drawing, and other subjects.

State Commissioners for Education are tasked with appointing focal officers, sharing programme details with principals, and ensuring schools have ICT facilities and internet access. Registration is managed by school principals through Inspire support channels.

The ministry stressed that the programme is open to both public and private schools nationwide, ensuring inclusive access to quality online learning.
